Different types of Mage Shot

I am curious if anyone has any ideas on balancing and creating difrent flavors of Mage Shot.

I was thinking of doing sonic or force damage ones, but I'm not sure if that would be OP?

If you decide on sonic or force, I would have them have the additional effect of lowering the damage code. This is in-line with the alchemist discoveries. Concussive bomb* & Force bomb* both reduce the damage dice to d4 from d6.

I'd recommend d8 --> d6 --> d4 --> d3 --> d2 and having them move down 1 level.
