Considering the Fey Magic trait:

Quote:
Fey Magic (2 RP): The character has a mystic connection to one terrain type, selected from the ranger’s favored terrain list. The character selects three 0-level druid spells and one 1st-level druid spell. If the character has a Charisma score of 11 or higher, when in the selected terrain, she gains these spells as spell-like abilities that can be cast once per day. The caster level for these effects is equal to the user’s character level. The DC for the spell-like abilities is equal to 10 + the spell’s level + the user’s Charisma modifier. These spells are treated as being from a fey source for the purposes of the druid’s resist nature’s lure class feature and similar abilities. In addition, select two of the following skills: Acrobatics, Bluff, Climb, Diplomacy, Disguise, Escape Artist, Fly, Knowledge (nature), Perception, Perform, Sense Motive, Sleight of Hand, Stealth, Swim, or Use Magic Device. The selected skills are always class skills for the character. Lastly, the human also gains low-light vision. This trait replaces skilled. Source: PZO9456

Could a Human Wizard with that trait make a Cure Light Wounds potion using the brew Potions feat?

Thanks for clearing this up!

The Only Sheet

No, you can't create potions of spell like abilities, only actual spells.

What about this FAQ?

Hmmmm, I may be wrong. I think that potions, scrolls and wands are different from genteral crafting in that you can't ignore the spell requirments and I didn't think a sla would work in it's place. We'll have to wait and see what people smarter than me say.

There is another FAQ saying that you can't use a spell-like ability to count a spell as being on your spell list for the purpose using a spell completion or spell trigger item, but that is not the question here.

But remember that you do have to be in the proper type of terrain to use the Fey Magic SLA for any purpose.

It's interesting. Looking at the same FAQ. It sounds like you could craft a scroll using your SLA, but then you would be unable to use / activate the scroll you just created.

edit: probably the reason the FAQ David mentions came out.

I'm not sure if you guys are saying it is doable or not!

I'm referring to a Potion here and not a scroll. And indeed, I am aware that the Wizard would have to be IN the 'favored' terrain for the spell to manifest....

TOS

Yes it's doable per the first FAQ cited.

Yes. You can't skip the requirement that you have to provide the spell for a potion, but you can still provide the spell via a spell-like ability (or another person with the spell or SLA, for that matter).
