2E Supscription Error

Hello there friend Paizo peoples,

I would like to subscribe to the Pathfinder Adventure path & Campaign setting subscription services. However despite there being a button that says start with X when I click it for either one it defaults to the last book of the First Edition Subscriptions for both. Once in my cart I see there is a option to once again tell it I want to start with the 2E products but even when selected there what shows First Edition product as the books that are going to be placed in my side cart.

What is the best way to go about placing these orders? Should I just subscribe to both and then ask you to kindly remove the First Edition books and swap em for the Second Edition ones?

Let me know whats the best way to proceed.

They won't be running the subscription auths for the Gen Con products until early July, so you should be fine if you wait for a bit. They would be very busy dealing with this problem from a lot of people if they don't fix it by then.

Edit: Or just go back to those pages and try again. It looks like they just split these products up so that you can skip the final PF1 products.

Sadly, this still appears to be bugged. Although you can now select the 2E products, when you go to submit your order it reverts to saying it'll ship you the 1E products instead. :(

I'm encountering the same error that Vexies described. I've used both Firefox and Chrome to attempt to only process a subscription order for the Campaign Setting/World Guide line.

I've added to my cart the sub starting with Lost Omens World Guide, then it defaults during check out to Druma. I change back to Lost Omens, then continue (clicking update shipping or place your order), at the confirmation page Druma is still shown. I've even tried updating quantities before continuing, but that hasn't helped.

Is there a way for this to be addressed rather than having customers contact customer service to remove Druma from the sidecart should we want to be sure to be subscribed to the World Guide line only? (Also, is this tied to the ending of the Campaign Setting line before turning it into the World Guide line as a coding issue?)

Hi Katina,

Myself and quite a few others have followed this advice, but are getting concerned about not having heard anything back / still having 1E products in our sidecart. Is a forum post a suitable way to let you know, or do we need to email/call?

Hello folks,

We are answering forum posts at the same rate that we are able to keep up with emails (keeping response times as even as possible), so posting here is just fine, and will be about the same as emailing. Right now we have about a 4-5 business day response time, but we are catching up and are going to get everyone answered before we authorize the Second Edition items!

Advice would be to make sure you make your own personal thread for us to track, and don't bump! It makes it look newer, and actually pushes it further away based on our work process of prioritizing the oldest threads.


Hello, what is the best course of action if the shopping cart is defaulting to 1st edition products instead of the 2nd edition products I am choosing? Is a fix coming that I should wait for before the July 3rd cutoff to select Gencon pickup. Or should I go ahead and order the 1st edition subscription product and contact customer service to fix the order?
