Hi Wei Ji,
If you're trying to add it as a Gift Certificate for store credit added to your account, that's the problem. Recently, they've switched to codes that can only be used as part of an order you're currently making. In other words, if you try to add some stuff to your cart and hit Checkout, there should be a place to put that code in to reduce your overall cost, but these certificates no longer can just be added to your account for credit toward future purchases.

That’s not true - I was able to add mine as store credit.
Wei Ji,
The spaces are important- I got your error from inputting just the 16 characters, but once I did it as 4 blocks of 4, it worked

We now have gift certificates and vouchers.
Gift certificates should function as they always have. You should be able to redeem them during the order process or via your My Account > My Gift Certificates . When redeemed it becomes store credit on your account. If you don't use all of your gift certificate amount, the balance stays on your account.
Vouchers are what the Organized Play Foundation uses for folks who are GMing games and stuff. Vouchers can only be added during check out (although I believe we're looking at adding a feature to apply them to pending orders). If the amount of the voucher(s) is more than the order total, the overage is lost.
