Thunderstriker (fighter) question

Scarab Sages

Just curious if things that can function as bucklers, but aren't, qualify as bucklers for this archetype..?

In particular, looking at the Tekko-Kagi from Ultimate combat, which is an Exotic weapon that can be used as a buckler.

Tekko-Kagi is here and archetype is here.

There's no angle, I'm just curious.

By strict RAW, no, since it doesn't say "can be used as a buckler for all purposes." By RAI, probably yes.

Yes you could use it that way.

Keep in mind, it reads to me (and I'm sure others) as a weapon or buckler at any given time. So when used as a buckler, your class features activate. Most require a weapon, and the Tekko-Kagi isn't one at the moment. So another weapon.

Scarab Sages

Interesting, Thanks.
