How would a target remove a PC using Limb Climber, other than just trying to hit the PC?

Have a high enough CMD to deny the Limb Climb...

Otherwise, you have been "climbed"...

It's literally the entire point of the entire ability...

They probably won't make a specific archetype if it was not intended to work...

Shadow Lodge

You could use anything that moved them off you. So like bull rush, reposition, stuff like that.

Dimension Door would work, as would any ability that does something similar.

You could also try holding your breath and going underwater. Your pesky climber will have to suffer not breathing also.

Try lighting yourself on fire.

Edit for clarification: The character being climbed. Not you specifically. Please don't light yourselves on fire, kids.

Excellent advice all. Thank you.

Especially blahpers. Fire safety is everyone's responsibility!

blow them up (5d4) so hard they are pushed away 10 feet as an immediate action?
my grapple hating casters keep this for such times, worth every gold coin...

notes: it also take no body slot and you decide where he is pushed to.

extra thought. the pinball gang:
5 party members all wearing same item pushing the target into each other.
cost 5X 3500 gp (half if crafted)
get:
once per day no save as immediate action from 5 creatures deal 25d4 to a target that touched one of them. -don't you dare touch me!

How else are we suppose to accurately role play our fire elementals?

Immediate action, no saving throw, and PFS legal - thanks for putting this out. It's now on the "to buy" list of several of my characters.

if you got the cash. it's not illegal to have more then one on you since it's slot-less
-think of it as them oriental formal, many-layered, cloths. they had anywhere from 5-20+ thin layers of clothing on, each peeking from beneath the other's.
i find that 3 are enough to make enemies avoid you like fire...

see if the gm let you pick 'straight up' as the direction you push them...

if you like stuff like this, im currently playing a 'nasty surprises' themed character.(Eldritch Scoundrel/Arcane Trickster)
among his gear (or gear-to-buy list )you can find (beside the above):
Crackling Tassel.
Robe of Needles. (ranged touch+ bleed, can sneak attack with)
Stubborn Nail.
Caltrop Bead (ranged touch + aoe + ground hazard. can sneak attack with).

has more nasty stuff, but it's more character specific to be of general use.(like Dimensional Acid and Portable Pit)

Any effect that would move the vexing dodger against their will should work.

I don't have a list of those, but I'm sure other will come up with more than they already have.

Shadow Lodge

It's actually one of the things I really like about the design of the vexing dodger archetype. The limb climber ability is simple, straightforward, and uses existing rules. No need for some complicated extra rule set when there's already plenty of existing options to cover it.
