If you came here to find out when the best bathroom breaks are, they are before the great Marvel logo and after the end credits.
Wow. Just wow. Man. We skipped the Spring and just hit Summer blockbuster season way early.
Kevin Feige, Joe and Anthony Russo have been masterful custodians of their iconic charge Stan Lee left them with. This is their astonishing love letter to the fans.
This is a modern EPIC in terms of sheer spectacle, visually and in story arc. And thankfully, “Endgame” is one of these summer hero-fests that revels in its present rather than looking to the future.
Go to the movie with expectations, and have those expectations ripped to girlie man shreds like Bruce Banner’s skinny jeans on Hulk’s worst time of the month. It’s been 11 long years since Robert Downey nailed it and truthfully uttered “I am Iron Man,” and we have had many heroes’ journeys since then, “Endgame” is that big of a payoff.
The main characters here, while heroic, are seen at their most human, weighing loss and life, in many ways mirroring their comic book page selves. They don’t stand apart from us, rather they are among the very best of us.
The film allows for meaningful character moments across the board: Robert Downey and Chris Evans shine like the all-stars they have always been, but the rest of the cast also do some of their superhero best. And yes, Hawkeye gets his screen time in this one. It’s akin to having small mini movies inside this larger epic. There are certainly character driven moments aplenty.
“Endgame” dives into the dark corners and lifts you up with cathartic comedy. Those fans who are looking for callbacks, fanboy/girl moments and Easter eggs from older movies will be quite happy and rewarded for doing their homework. There are a couple of scenes that feel like a Jack Kirby page brought to life.
So here’s a big THANK YOU to the show runners, directors, writers, cast and crew, and to my fellow fans. This IS the Marvel movie we have been waiting for.
And somewhere out there, Stan ‘The Man’ Lee is smiling broadly. His babies are in good hands. And have grown some.
Excelsior!

Did Galactus show up and eat Mars?
If he was hungry for Mars, he'd go to Scotland.
Edit:

I've been told the best pee breaks (no spoilers)
When the San Francisco title card is on the screen. If you've seen all the movies, what follows is mostly recap. 30 minutes into the movie. Good for if you forgot to pee before the movie.
The lunch scene. An hour into the movie.
The New Jersey title card. This is your last chance, but be quick. After this, there is no safe time to pee.

2. Is there any post credits scenes? I don't want to know what they are. Just if they have any since this wraps up the big story arc.
From what my friends who've already caught it have said, no. The animated credits are worth staying through but you can take off when the standard white-on-black credits hit.
I haven't heard if there's a "...will return" bit at the end though.

One of the reasons for post-credits scenes is to force people to stay while the names go by of all the very hardworking folk who helped make the movie a reality. Even if there's no end credit scenes, it's a polite thing to stay through and help acknowledge those people by staying put--no you're not gonna read every name. It's just still a nice thing. That said, I don't know if my bladder will let me stay in my seat. But I have an intention of staying as long as I can because there's a lot of folks who busted their butts, I can try to sit while their names fly by for 2 minutes.
Tonight! Tonight! I may not get much work done today...
By total accident/mistake, I think I saw one spoiler. Though it may be fake. Trying not to let it get to me, but AGH, that's so frustrating, when I was sooo clooose.

There's one very vague easter egg at the end of the credits. Not sure on what it means at the moment, but not worth staying for. The credits are crazy long.
Yeah, I've heard it's an audio-only sound effect (no spoken dialogue) played over the Marvel logo at the very end. Could be a homage of something past, could be a teaser of something to come.

Have you ever ridden a roller coaster? Like a really wild, twisty turny one, with great theming? And there's moments like on the chain lift where you're like oh no, here we go, don't look down, and then other moments like the drop hill where you're like wwwhhhhooooooaAAAAAAAH! And then there's the twisty coily bits and the inversions and the parts where you feel like you almost fall out of your chair and the slow bits where you're like, ooh, that's a great view of the park, only then to drop into a heartline roll and then down into a helix and then another hill and then... and then... then you hit the brakes and you slowly coast on the drive train wheels waving along and you get out, legs wobbly beneath you, simultaneously thinking, THAT WAS AWESOME!! and I AM NEVER DOING THAT AGAIN! and I think I might puke and mainly what the f#%# was just that? What the actual f&*@?!!!? and also whhhhhoooooAAAAAH!
That. That for three whole hours.

Saw the movie. Enjoyed the movie. o wo Would recommend it to anyone who's been keeping up with the MCU. Would suggest anyone who hasn't watch at least most of the other films watch those or, at minimum, read plot summaries. I don't think it's a spoiler to say that this movie has a lot of named characters in it.

Pretty good insane over the top culmination. If you haven't been following the films, you might not get completely lost, but... I recall some chowderheaded critic in 2012 complaining that there wasn't enough exposition in Avengers, and, well, buckle up kiddo, 'cause this thing is built on a string of movies going all the way back.

The movie definitely doesn't stand alone. I rewatched The Avengers and Infinity War a few days prior to Endgame, and even though I feel I'm pretty good about knowing/remembering most of the MCU lore, I felt that the time spent was well worth it.
I did a full rewatch. All MCU films 1-21 before watching this

Although speaking of things that are standing alone, it looks like Endgame is probably going to hold the box office opening record for a movie for quite some time - the current report is $1.2 billion globally, which shattered the previous record.
Nearly double the previous record . . . set by Infinity War.

Here is a new, spoileriffic thread for your enjoyment.
I'd recommend non spoilery reviews remain here.
