Metamorph Archetype / Master Chymist?

Is it possible to make a character who is a Metamorph alchemist, which trades most of the alchemy related abilities for shapeshifting, but still has the Mutagen ability, and gain the Master Chymist prestige class? I already considered the obvious multiclass with investigator, but I want to make a pure Alchemist/Chymist.

'At 1st level, a metamorph gains mutagen as a normal alchemist.' So yeah, just take the archetype and you get mutagen and shapeshifting. You're not qualified for the master chymist PrC though, that requires 3rd level extracts and a metamorph loses all extracts.
