One of the biggest factors into my RPG purchases is shipping, getting stuff from the US (tho, bizarrely not UK/EU which is twice as far!) is very expensive. I'm interested in the PACG sub, starting with the core set, but when I go through the process of checking out it doesn't give me a shipping cost. Is there any way to find out what the shipping will be? Wait until it is released then add to cart then - I guess if it is shipping immediately it will show the shipping costs?

Because the item would be a subscription item and go to the sidecart, the system does wait to generate shipping prices until the subscription item is generated in the month it will ship. I have created an example order for the PACG Core Set using your shipping information and have provided the shipping options it gave me below:
Mail Innovations International 6 to 40 business days $40.21
USPS Priority Mail 6 to 40 business days $56.37
UPS International 3 to 40 business days $98.68
These will be the available shipping prices for your subscription item when it ships, with some possible minor adjustments as shipping rates seem to fluctuate by a dollar or two over time.
Of course if when your order generates you decide that the shipping is too expensive, you can always contact us to cancel the order before it ships. Hopefully this information helps you in your decision. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know. Thank you!

Hi I'm just looking at the possibility of starting the subscription with the Core Set, but when I select that in Cart > go to section 2 shipping it always defaults back to starting with the Wilderness pack, so I cannot see what shipping will be or carry on from there.

I was able to select the Core set as the starting item from your cart. If you go into your cart now, the displayed information should now all be for starting with the new Core set. If you have any continued difficulties, please let us know. Thank you!
Edit: I just realized though that it is likely only displaying the shipping price for the Core Set, so bear in mind that if you are looking to get the Crimson Throne adventure path sent at the same time, this will likely increase shipping prices.
Sorry it's still doing the same thing. I click on the button next to core set. Then I click on the shipping button and it resets the cart contents to the Wilderness set + freebie card.

No problem! I'm sorry that it's giving you such difficulty. Given that it is presenting you a problem that I cannot recreate on my side, it's possible that cookies or other browser information is interfering and altering the cart at the last stage. Regardless, I can of course help you get your subscription started with the right item. The best way to do this would be for me to complete the order on my end.
Ensure that the payment method you would like to use is entered on the "My payment methods" section of your account. I can then apply that payment method as the default for subscriptions and get this order completed for you, starting with the new core set. Of course you will receive a complete breakdown of your order before it ships, so we can ensure that everything looks the way you want it to, and the shipping prices are acceptable before we ship the order.
If this works for you, please just let me know when you have the payment method you would like to use added to your account. Thank you for your patience while this has been buggy for you.
Thanks for your reply Sam, I prefer to see the process myself as I still haven't decided on purchase - shipping being key. So I will wait until the Wilderness pack is not a starting option for the subscription. It should work then!
Just for your info, I tried it on my iPad (in Safari), Chrome (on 2 PCs) & Chrome incognito mode, and Edge (which I normally don't use) on PC for the same result. So I doubt it is a cookies etc problem.
The Shipping Button 2 is grey, I'm not sure if that means anything, and the Subscription Options 3 & Place Your Order 4 are red.

Hopefully this will help you with future problem solving/bug hunting - thanks for your help. I realise shipping is approx $40, I still haven't decided whether to go for it. I will await some reviews of the new ACG.
EDIT the approx $40 estimate for shipping that you gave me: is that for both Core and AP, do they ship together?
