So I have the opening post for gameplay ready to go but Paizio is not letting me post it for some odd reason, I'll try it again when I get home. I can post here though.

So I made a test post in gameplay on another alias and it didn't post anything, but it counts it at the first post for that alias even though it's blank, and has added the alias to the game, what's the deal with that? If anyone knows what might be wrong then tell me, because it's either bugged out or I'm dumb, and I can't figure it out.

Most races have their own tongues so most of the languages such as Dwarven and Elven exist, as well as Infernal, Abyssal, and Celestial.

Languages of the Old World -

>Old Common - Can be seen mostly everywhere shares 1 in 15 words with new Common, Needs to be known to cast most Arcane Magic.

>Godtongue - A holy language from the Ancient Times, Needs to be known to cast All Divine Magic

>Old Southtongue

>Old Frogtongue

As the names imply, each of these languages have a new variation, And most languages split from these common languages.

Consider these as potential options when considering extra languages. Old Common is especially useful to know.


Are these languages given for free by their respective classes like Druidic is, or does every Cleric need to drop a point in Linguistics?

A Warder Bodyguard, a Harbinger, a Heavens Oracle.

Warder and Harbinger are melee Path of War classes.


So two melee dudes and a support/healer?

Hmmm... I suppose I could play an arcane caster or ranged support to round up the party. A Witch could be fun.

General Houserules:
Torque so they can act like Composite Bows. That's usually enough to make them pretty decent.

You could also reduce the action to reload by 1 step.

The issues are that you can't full attack with them without spending three Feats (on top of all the normal ranged feats) and they don't add Str to damage.

I see, that makes sense to me, Seems fine, Treat it like you would a composite bow then.

So... I got an idea for a Catfolk Mage diplomat/scholar...

I still gotta select her feats and magecraft spells. I have a bare-bones version of her background story as well.

Also... I'm really disappointed that there are only 3 catfolk pictures and they all kinda suck... :(

EDIT: Ahh... I just saw the bit about unusual races in the game. Well, let me know if Catfolk aren't allowed. I don't mind changing Mia's race.

Catfolk are fine, It's believed some of the ancients must of worshipped animals, they seemed almost obsessed with them and would dress up in strange garb and model their whole lives after then. The most wealthy and eccentric of these folk went as far as to go through genetic engineering Magic rituals to be more like their Animal gods, You're their offspring.

I had some issues and tossed this game out for a bit, but after some convincing and finishing up with my move I've decided to bring it back, I can just start off from where we left off. If y'all are still interested.

We can just start off from where we left off, And I'll make a habit of pinging people when it's their turn, and not just waiting, I see now that's just how things are done. Also Lemmy, when you make your character we'll work out a way to introduce them, you won't be the first person the rats ever caught.


I still think that individual innitiative in pbp is a bad thing.

Block Initiative is when all the PCs roll initiative and everyone goes on whoever's roll was best. Enemies still roll individually if there are not many or are also divided into blocks.

Block or individual but you roll everybody's for us is fine.

I prefer block since it means all the players go in whatever order on their turn and you dont have to wait as much.


Block innitiative is better.

Bleh... I'd at least split the opposing sides in two halves. Having a whole side of the conflict go first is too big an advantage for it to happen every combat.

Also... I'll rebuild this version of Mia into something else, since I'm already using Mage Mia in the Great Ocean campaign.
