If you have general questions about how subscriptions and Pathfinder Second Edition will work, please visit the thread in the Pathfinder forums: Pathfinder Second Edition Subscription Questions.

If you have feedback on the subscriptions or the transition process, you're welcome to discuss that here if you wish.

Hi Sara

Not sure if the Tech Team would have the appetite for it, but I'd really like the ability to vary the number of my subscriptions to a given line so I received more print copies.

Granted Customer Service are always happy to do it, but it does feel like an annoyance. I have a few product lines I want multiple subscriptions to all the time, but there are some I only want to double or triple up for a limited time. If I could just click up from 1 to 2 for a few months, then back down to 1 it'd be great.

I admit it wouldn't be something I'd use often, but then again maybe if it was easier (and obvious how to do) more people might utilise it.

I can make plenty of guesses as to why you want cancellation to remain with CS's purview - I'm not asking for the ability to drop the number to zero. Merely to be able to auto-order two or more copies without having to remember.

Cheers
Steve

Just a quick question: I started the rulebook subscription with the 2nd Edition Core Rule Book. I only see the CRB in my pending subscription items. Others have mentioned the Bestiary showed up as well. Should it have shown up for me? I just want to make sure I'll be getting the Bestiary also. Thanks.

@steve, We've had some good conversations lately about what kinds of things we need to provide subscribers with long term. More nuanced control over subscriptions and sidecarts are two major things I am angling for. But these are pretty significant changes to how the site and the code operate which means these are long term projects and not likely to happen in the immediate future. Personally, I'd like to see user control for subscription starting and stopping, but there's a lot of steps between here and there.

@Drago95, If you start with the Core Rule book, you should be fine for getting the Bestiary. Keep an eye on your orders when we generate them (eta early July) to ensure you're getting what you expect (general advice, but when there's big transitions like this, its especially important). If you see any issues, definitely let Customer Service know right away so that we can fix any issues as soon as possible.

Will do! Thank you!

Awesome, thanks Sara!

If I can add things to the list of discussion points (or more likely affirm things that are already on the list):

The "order history" interface is pretty difficult to navigate from the perspective of a customer with a large number of orders. There's a whole bunch of "empty" orders and it has some odd glitches (like if you're several pages in and check a historical order, hitting the back button takes you to page one rather than to the page you were on).

I'd also really, really like the ability to export all my orders, total up amount spent, amount of freight charges, get a list of all orders placed in 2014....that kind of thing. I appreciate the demand for that level of functionality is probably close to one but I figure if I keep mentioning it, it might be easy to implement as part of a bigger update one day. :)

Hi Sara

One more request (pretty sure it’s on a list anyway, but still..):

It’d be really good if the order history page showed you first your sidecart, then each of your pending orders and then all the historical, completed orders.

I currently show five pending orders (pretty sure that’s a glitch) however I can only remember two of them. Given I’ve had one (granted unusual) order sitting there for fifteen months, it’s hard to dig back far enough to see what’s still on the way - I have to search through several pages of completed orders with very little detail and guess which ones might be what I’m looking for.

If they were all grouped near the top (or if I had some filters I could apply) that would be brilliant!

I appreciate it’s not really on topic, however if you’re looking at it all in terms of 2nd edition subs, I figured it might be an opportunity to sneak in some other patches too.

Cheers
Steve
