Retraining boon question

Dark Archive

I received a boon that reduces the time I need to retrain by 5 days. I want to retrain something and it would take me 5 days. Since the formula for retraining is 10x level x days, would this mean that I can do a 0 day retrain for free or what would it take cost me for the 0 day retrain? I don't mind paying for it but I haven't ever retrained a character before.

Any one retraining item that takes 5 days or less would be free.

I believe it's a minimum of one day. (Dont have Ult Campaign on me). Maybe another will chime in with a definitive answer.

So the retraining boon is actually a lot stronger than I thought it would be

Wow! Free retrain. Awesome.

Basically it reduces the cost by 5 prestige (5 days) and some gold.

I don’t see anything in UCam stating that. Unless the boon has a minimum, it should be able to reduce the time to zero.

It does not mention a minimum. It simply reduces it by 5 days.

You would still have to pay 10x level. Instead of the 10xlevelxdays training. So it is a really good discount, but not free.

I don't believe there's a one-day minimum. I've used this boon to swap out elements of a character during an adventure. (But not, like, during combat.)

Um... anything x anything x 0 = 0

Interesting idea, 0 duration does suggest you could do it on the fly.

But I believe retraining is always done in downtime? As in, even if an adventure had a sea voyage of a week in the middle of it, you couldn't use that to retrain something.
