Mind Swap & Druid

Rules Questions

Yes and yes. The class feature says nothing about intent, it's just a matter of whether the druid wears metal armour. There's probably a druid archetype which gets around it, and worshipping Gorum makes it just for as long as the druid wears the armour IIRC.

The real question is who is the druid? Is the druid his original body, or is it his mind? I am inclined to go with the first option. In which case, he does not lose his class abilities for being in another body.

Major mind swap lasts forever. Could a major mind-swapped psychic turn the druid's abilities off at some later date by holding a metal shield, no matter how far away? I think that'd be sillier, if anything.

Then too, any new spells originate from the possessed/mind-swapped bodies, not from the original bodies, which suggests that that is where the magic is. Even the original body dying doesn't kill the person in the other body, as long as the possession/mind swap lasts, so lesser effects shouldn't carry thru either IMO.
