Gloves of storing weapon interaction

Rules Questions

Hello everyone. I have a question that came to my mind while building a kineticist. Do gloves of storing automatically equip a weapon when used? I get that if I used them to store a longsword, for example, the longsword would appear in your hand and you could wield it as a free action. But what about spiked gauntlet? What about handwraps? Is it specified anywhere the type of action needed to equip them, or are they treated like any other weapon?

It depends on the item stored. Does it take a full round action to "equip" an item, then it also takes a full round action to equip said item after retrieving it from the gloves.

For example, a longsword only needs to be held, ergo it appears as a free action in your palm and can immediately be equiped (just closing your hand is already equiping). A gauntlet still needs te be donned after retrieved it from the glove, since it appears in the palm of your hand, and you can squeeze the gaunlet all you want, but that's not how a gauntlet get the most out of its use. Same goes for handwraps, you still have to wrap them around your hand after retrieving.

I now can't get the image out of my head of some masochistic adventurer squeezing on a spiked gauntlet as long as he wants.

i was actually having the image (thanks to 'Robin hood, Man in tights') of some1 retrieving a gauntlet to hit some1 else in the face as a Challenge to a dual.

I understand that, by logic, handwraps, brassknuckles and spiked gauntlets appear in your hands and not equipped, but is it listed anywhere what kind of action it is to equip them properly?

handwraps seem to be functionally similar to rope gauntlets and so I imagine it would take the same amount of time to put them on and remove them (IOW 1 min. to put on and a full round action to remove).

putting on a pair brassknuckles or a set of spiked guantlets seem like they require as much effort and/or concentration as sheathing a weapon, so these would be a move action. Though I suppose if a dm wanted to be cruel they could treat them like a Scizore which takes a full round action to eqiup.

thank you for your answer. Unless some other weapons or magic item comes up, I guess I am stuck with using storing gloves to unequip handwraps and then re-equipping them after combat.

Is the gauntlet a squeaky toy? Your pet dog will love doing this all day.

Found it: RHMiT Slap

In out campaign, it will not equip. We have a THF that starts combat with sword and board, and when needing to pull out a two handed weapon will glove the shield while pulling out the big weapon. Later they switch back with the equip action for the shield.

Regarding handwraps, it seems it is a movement action. Read the answer of a developer (Luis Loza) here:
