This supplement is next on the list and I know it was written using Psionics Unleashed so we pretty much need to bundle it up from what I understand.
Now my question is quite simple: Does it have to be Psionics Unleashed or could I substitute Psionics Unleashed Revised or Ultimate Psionics? And, as a sub-questions, what would be the advantages of these substitutions?
Before buying I'm curious to know and I'm quite aware it might end up being a case of Psionics Unleashed gives me all I need to use Waves of Thought and the 2 other doesn't really add much to it.

If you have Ultimate Psionics, you don't need Psionics Unleashed. Ultimate Psionics has everything Psionics Unleashed with more development and polish. Psionics Unleashed just happens to have been the main psionics book that was available when Waves of Thought was developed.
At the moment, I have none of them (thus my question). So basically if I go with Ultimate Psionics I would pretty much have all I need and more. Would there be any major risk of rules conflict (bound to have a few minor tweaks)?
Thank you for the input.

I have (and have used) both books and there's nothing I can think of that conflicts between Waves of Thought and Ultimate Psionics. My recommendation would be to go straight for Ultimate Psionics and skip Psionics Unleashed entirely, since UP is a higher quality book that covers all the same content. There's not really any reason to have both Psionics Unleashed and Ultimate Psionics.
