All in all though it's not the greatest of the wizard archetypes.

You add your wizard level and your alchemist level (if any) to determine your effective alchemist level for the purpose of bomb damage. Any other interpretation would be ludicrously punitively.

It's actually one of the worst archetypes ever published for any class.

It's not like the Oozemorph Shifter isn't shooting for that spot imho.
There are very few archetypes that are that level of bad. Arcane Bomber Wizard isn't in the upper echelon of the top 5, but probably still in the top 20 worst. Out of the hundreds of published archetypes today, that does indeed leave it as one of the worst. At very least it's running neck-and-neck with the siege mage for title of the worst wizard archetype.

You know I get an archtype for flavor. But when I read the Arcane bomber I thought what? I mean 4 schools of magic to do what? Bombs that stay only a 1d6 forever, seriously the drawbacks are ridiculous! You could play a dual class Alchemist Wizard and beat the hell out of this archtype. Bomb damage alone would splatter the archtype.
