Crafters Fortune Work for crafting Magic items?

Rules Questions

Does crafters fortune help with your crafting rolls for crafting magic items?

If you use craft for the magic item I dont see why not. Ex: Master Craftman.

I have no idea whether it works with spellcraft.

Magical items use a spellcraft check, not a craft check. The only way for it to work is with something else that lets you use a craft check, like Master Craftsman.

That's incorrect, all magical item crafting allows you to use various different craft checks, or a spellcraft check to craft with them.

For instance, magic weapon creation rules have this line:

Quote:
Skill Used in Creation: Spellcraft, Craft (bows) (for magic bows and arrows), or Craft (weapons) (for all other weapons).

Spellcraft is just the most common because it can be used for all of them, rather than needing to put ranks into several different skills.

So it doesn't work for spellCRAFT checks?

No. But if you are using craft skills for magic items (as given in the bow example) it should be fine.

It also doesn't work for
world of warCRAFT
witchCRAFT
KRAFT mac and cheese
C RAFT the Barbarian

.... it may actually help with the mac and cheese.
