Intimidate: Demoralize: Unchained Frighten & Panic

In PF Unchained a character who has five Ranks in Intimidate will Frighten a Demoralized opponent for one Round (and then Shaken the opponent). (At 10 Ranks the Demoralized opponent becomes Panicked for one Round.)

Here's the question, looking at Unchained -- would the RAW allow for a PC who has five Ranks to only make his Demoralized opponent Shaken -- rather than Frightened -- for one Round? (And likewise later, at ten Ranks, could the PC only make his Demoralized opponent Shaken rather than Panicked?)
