Been playing around with an idea for a Mindblade Magus/Assassin character. Mostly the sheer amusement of using Dimension Door into a death blow. But unless I want to multiclass 10 levels of Slayer to get assassinate, I'm going to have to take the Assassin Prestige class. While reading up on it I noticed this line in Death Attack: "The death attack fails if the target detects the assassin or recognizes the assassin as an enemy."
I was thinking of using Psychic Access to pick up Charm Person. But would that actually work? To use Charm Person to make the target not "recognize the assassin as an enemy"? If not, I may just have to go full Magus and just work the Assassin motif without actually having the abilities.
