I've only done the playtest once. A few of my friends aren't happy with it at all for a variety of reasons. I've only talked to one person that really likes it.
My biggest gripe is one of the main elements adding your level or +2/-4 etc to AC, attacks and skills. I think that moves away from the main elements of PF1 into other areas.
I'm also not happy with class feats. That seems to me borrowed from 4e powers which I wasn't happy with.
I'm worried that if PF2 is designed to compete with 5e then it might not succeed in getting new 5e players to move to PF2 but I guess we'll see.

So edition warring is explicitly not allowed on these boards, but I want to suggest that if Company A is making product X to compete with Company B's Product Z, it might not be the smartest plan to make X like Z in order to appeal to the people who like Z. It's probably smarter to make X unlike Z to appeal to people who are missing something with Z.
Class feats are just rage powers, revelations, rogue talents, phrenic amplifications, wild talents, vigilante talents, magus arcana, alchemical discoveries, etc. made universal. People liked those classes in PF1 specifically because they let you make meaningful choices frequently, so this is just a sensible design priority. Classes should probably give more stuff unrelated to feats, but that's an unrelated issue.

Qstor, these concerns you mentioned are valid. Others have noticed them, commented, and argued about them; hence, the popcorn jokes.
We learned that comparisons to other editions are not much of an argument. There is nothing inherently flawed in using an idea from another game. Some people liked those features and some people disliked those features, but those features in Pathfinder 2nd Edition have to be judged on their own merits rather than how well they functioned in another game.
Jason Bulmahn made an informative comment about adding level to AC, attacks, and skills as he locked down the thread, What about having "remove +1 / level" as an optional rule, at least?. It will answer some questions.
