Retraining a witch's patron

I have a local player who is wanting to switch his witch's patron. It's not covered under the RAW of retraining, but to me it seems too trivial to swap out for free like a deity. Would I treat this like a class feature?

I always thought it IS a class feature, I'd definitely treat it like one.

It is a class feature but only those listed in UC can be retrained. Much like a sorcerer bloodline or oracle mystery your choice is locked in once made.

You can retrain a bloodline. It is mentioned specifically in the retraining rules under Sorcerer class features.

Witch only has hexes listed, unfortunately.
