universalist wizard errata question

just to point out, that the universalist's drain focus RAw is still:

"gain an extra (whatever level spell)/ max spell slot"

the ability grants 1 more use of drain focus/spell level that you have, so 2 drain/day at 3, 3 drain/day/5 and etc

but focus is usable at each and every empty slot.

so, as an example, a 9th level wizard gains (RAW) 5 extra 5th level spells (and with focus conservation another 5 3rd and etc)

I'm pretty sure that the RAI here is that the drain focus of the universalist is suppossed to work only once for each specific spell level, but afaik that's not what's written in the ability at all.

Update 1.1 changed the RAW to be:

"Universalist Wizards
You can choose not to specialize in an arcane school and
to instead become a universalist wizard. If you do, you
can use Drain Arcane Focus once each day to recall a spell of each spell level you can cast, instead of only once per day."

funny, i went through the 1.6 script and missed that.

that formating on the errata document is... well, bad ^^

ah.. there is it, my search-fu of searching "focus" "drain" and etc failed me because the actual errata didn't even bother to mention any of said words, just the "per each"...

Yah, it's a lot of stuff. While I'm sad we won't get anymore updates until release but I also feel like the updates we have are already too much to really handle. Glad I could help a little bit.
