Additional Resources backlog

I just got the Paizo order notification for The Diaspora Strain so it looks like many of us will start getting the PDF any day now. That leaves me wondering when Additional Resources will be caught up. For example, I know there's quite a few people still waiting for the Colonist theme from The Reach of Empire.

Also now that the season 1.5 guild guide is reportedly in layout, I'll bring up again that we're still waiting for the new RSP boon.

As a heads up, there's going to be a delay on additional resources for a bit. I'm working internally with people to get times slotted to work on these, but right now, my focus is on scenarios after getting the Guide done. I'll update more when I can.

Also I think Starfinder has it VERY well compared to Pathfinder where the AR took 9 Months in the last batch (looking at potions and poisions)

I admit, I'm not pleased with the situation, but the priority is on getting our regular scenarios out. Once those are in a good place (especially considering the XMas crunch so stuff isn't being done around the holidays) then I'll spend some time re-focusing on all the AR stuff! :)

Thursty, I love how much tme and effort you put into all of this. I'm happy that the APs that have come out so far are fully sanctioned. I adore the new Starfinder Convention player boons! I'm happy that Armory got covered so quickly. You're doing a great job and we appreciate it! We also appreciate the constant flow of delightful adventures.

Thank you, Star Daddy!

PS That does not mean that we're not going to keep asking for this stuff, though! Having good RSP and Alien Archive boons makes things more lively for the Players -- and it's nice to see our players slowly earning interesting race boons.

PPS I especially want to thank you for the Nufriend Skittermander boon. We have a delightful player with some learning disabilities who was having trouble getting organized and tracking her paperwork. But she LOVES skittermanders. Because of that boon, she's asked for help from other players in figuring out how to track things better. She gushes with enthusiasm when she talks about the purple and black striped skittermander that she's going to create. And because everyone at our venue wants to see her earn it, there are now four or five fellow players there that are helping her figure out how to organize and track. She now has a folder for her chronicle sheets, and she has a checklist that someone else created for her to track the scenarios she's played. On Wednesday, she figured out that she was halfway to her Nufriend and she got the biggest grin ever and hugged me afterwards.

Heck, she's even now doing the math on her chronicle sheets to track XP, and she wants to learn now to GM, so I'm starting the process of helping her prep Into the Unknown. We'll run her with a group of hand-picked patient players. It'll be challenging, but I think it's a challenge she can overcome. The incentive of this particular boon has worked wonders on motivating her to learn and grow as both a player and a member of our community, and it's helped us figure out how to become more inclusive.

Nor would I ever expect/want players and volunteers to stop asking for what their communities need.

I want it to be clear, this isn't something I've wanted to happen. Sadly, a lot of circumstances have piled up all at once and I'm trying to get through them as fast as I can. Once we get over this hump, I'm hoping to get right back into what I'd consider an acceptable release pattern :)

Thursty,

To be clear: You are so far ahead of an "acceptable" release rate and pattern. SO far ahead. I have been blown away by the timing and extensiveness of the Additional Resources updates. Thanks for everything you do. Thanks for excelling!

This is so awesome! Wish I was in your area so I could be part of that table!

I understand, and its good to have transparency. And huge kudos for the King Xeros tie-in.
