Powered armor carrying capacity boosts?

Rules Questions

I'm loving having a character that specializes in powered armor. But one thing that's starting to be a problem is weight limits. At level 10, you're looking at armor that can carry 10 bulk before being encumbered. That seems like a lot, but when you factor in weapons in weapon slots, armor upgrades, etc, it's actually pretty limiting.

My question is what alterations could be applied to power armor so it can carry more? I'm aware of load lifter, but would a backpack work? Augmentations other character options I can't see working. Anyone have any ideas?

Powered armor only has bulk if you're carrying it around in a suitcase or something. When worn it powers itself to cover its bulk. Most other things are L Bulk

A backpack should work (tactical harness?)

A starfinder backpack would definitely work (+4 bulk magic item, pull anything out like a weapon)

Might of the ecendroth spell/spell gem ampule may work.

There's spinal struts for a small extra boost

Yeah I know that powered armor doesn't count its own bulk while a character is wearing it and it's powered on. I just mean that while wearing powered armor, you use its own carrying capacity to determine your bulk limit, and count everything the armor has installed and everything you're carrying towards that limit. Might of the ednoloth or whatever it is, I forgot about that. That's a good idea. I don't feel like spinal struts would work though, it says increases your bulk limit, but armor would be seperate I would think. And yeah I suppose a backpack would work if the armor itself was wearing it...

I wouldn't think any bulk that the character was carrying would count toward the power armor bulk limit. Otherwise you would have to determine the bulk of the character riding in the power armor. Would a Battle harness with a human inside be able to carry more than a battle harness with a ysoki inside?

The ysoki needs to sit on some phone books and that cancels things out...
