Kaiju fights, human comets and other weirdness...

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

So I'm playing a three part campaign with a few friends. I'm playing an Unchained Synthesist because it struck my curiosity. The GM has let us know that we will be level 20 in the final session and fighting a clockwork Tarrasque and the spellcaster who made it. I hopped online and found some interesting ideas on fighting a regular Tarrasque. But this only gave me some weird ideas.

I have a Rod of Giant Summoning and the GM has given his blessing to be able to resummon my eidolon as large breed. Since the base creature is naturally Large, he's letting the Large and Huge evolutions bump it up to Huge and Gargantuan respectively. Since none of these are magical enlargement spells, casting Enlarge Person is going to bump me up to Colossal.

He didn't plan for any of us to try and take a nigh invulnerable monster on headon. We were supposed to focus on the caster and treat the Tarrasque as a hazard to keep us in panic mode. But he's a weeb and couldn't say no to letting one of the players get himself killed in a kaiju fight while the other players fight the spellcaster.

Since he's letting me play it a little with the size rules, I wanted any further craziness to be a bit more by the letter. Unfortunately, the situation raises questions I'm having trouble finding answers to.

1. Does being colossal change the size or damage of my eidolon's breath attack?
2. Can a colossal monster grapple a Tarrasque?

If this wasn't enough, I wanted to have a surprise for him. I was thinking that once things started looking too grim for me, I would cast Greater Teleport and appearing a few miles above the battle field and crash landing onto the Tarrasque. I read that the most damage one can take from objects falling on them is 20d6. But, given the novelty of the situation, it only raises more questions.

3. If I have a Scroll of Iron Body, does the ten-fold weight weight multiplier increase the damage such an impact will deal?
4. Does doubling my weight with a Scroll of Gravity Well increase my damage?
5. Is there some way to increase my fall speed?
6. In the event that he throws any fire damage at me to account for re-entry, is there some way to convert it to electricity damage?

I know it's a shot in the dark but is there anybody who might be able to help here?

1. Not to my knowledge.
2. Provided they beat the CMD, yes.
3-4. No. Generic object damage has a hard cap because a few people back in 3.5 figured out how to pick up the moon and drop it on their enemies. You may be able to increase your damage to 20d10 by making the area heavy gravity, though (it increases the damage from falling, which may or may not affect the damage from having something fall on you)*
5. Wierdly, increased gravity does not affect fall speed.
6. Not that I know of. It would be an environmental effect, not one that you would be in control of. Your best option is to point out that it's a pressure reaction first and foremost and should "obviously" do sonic damage.

*Your best option to apply the heavy gravity planar trait to a set location is the Quintessence Mastery spell, which you will likely need to UMD

1. No
2. As long as the other beast isn't more than 1 size larger than you, grapple is fine.
3-4. Max damage is max damage. You can't push past max unless you have something that specifically says it does.
5. Try flying down. Either way, increasing your speed won't get you past maximum falling damage.
6. If you are falling far enough to take re-entry burn there is no way you'd actually hit the Tarsque. Try not to get so far away you can't make a perception check.
