Question about the motuion sensor:
this is a hybrid item, it's worn (where do you wear it?)
And so what kind of item is it.
Since a character can not use more than 2 hybrid/magic weapons, and can not use two of the same type. A lot of those items througout the books are not good explained as to where they are worn.
Also, if an item is held, does this still count to the limit of two?
If it doesn't say where it's worn, I'd let them put it on anywhere. The important limitation is the use of one out of two magic/hybrid items you can have, not the area of the body where it is worn. It's rare that matters or is supposed to matter.
If the item is listed as worn and is functioning, it counts as your limit of two unless there is a special rule otherwise - several items allow you to install them as an armor mod to avoid them counting. You can let them hold it if you want, but it should still count against them.
Correction: Held items should NOT be counted against them. Page 222: "This limitation applies specifically to worn magic items, and does not apply to armor upgrades, held items, weapon fusions, augmentations, magic armor, consumables, or other forms of magic, all of which function normally."
EDIT: That said, I would not let it be held. It is explicitly called out as "Worn" and nothing in the text suggests being able to hold it.
