They're no more evil by nature than humans are good IMO.

They are however WAY more inclined towards Chaos and that doesn't really mesh with society in general which would lead to disenfranchisment along with the 'undesired' elements, the poor, criminal, and strange.

Which brings up the point that in Pathfinder 1st Edition Goblins are specified as being Neutral Evil rather than Chaotic Evil (let alone Chaotic Neutral), even though they are described as Chaotic Evil in all but name.

I like the idea of both, but especially goblins. though I would prefer that the goblins were more Ferengi and less psycho...


Interestingly, the WarCraft universe seems to have Goblins having subpopulations that are like Ferengi (Goblin Merchants and Tinkers, etc.) and subpopulations that are psycho (Goblin Sappers and Zeppelin pilots, etc.).

Those are different occupations, they're not genetically different.


I didn't mean that they were genetically different . . . but they must sure have different upbringings. Or at least different socioeconomic classes.

And playing the game... they really don't. Goblins like money and they like the boom.
