A few observations from Doomsday Dawn

Having run two of the three sessions of Doomsday Dawn and been a player in the third, I've got the following feedback so far:

1. I am having trouble reporting the second and third sessions on the Paizo web site. When I select Pathfinder 2E playtest as the category, only the Pathfinder Society scenarios and "Doomsday Dawn Part 1: The Lost Star" show up as selections.

2. I agree with everyone who is asking for better definitions for DCs for the task like identifying monsters, magic items, etc.

3. We found a typo in the rulebook. The spell "Divine Wrath" has the standard "Successful success save for half damage, critical success save for no damage, fail save for full damage, critical fail for double damage" in the description, but never states what kind of save it is. In 1e I would have expected a Will save, but many of the similar saves in 2e are Fortitude saves.

4. I haven't had the same experience with TPKs some of the other folks have. In Part 1 I had a player done at Dying 1 a number of times, but it was mostly poison and I don't think he ever got to Dying 2. I ran Part 3 this last weekend and while I scored a number of critical hits on the players, I only had one player at Dying 1 at one point. The only reason I got that player down was a typo in the Doomsday Dawn Book (see next comment.)

5. I'll try and post this next comment as a spoiler.

Affair at Sombrefell Hall Spoiler:

There seems to be a typo in Ilvoresh's statblock on page 45. I was giving him two attacks for one action, bite and claw, based on the one "Melee" entry before both of those lines in his statblock. After the game, one of the players asked about it and we looked up the "Brain Collector" in the Bestiary, and realized that there it has the "Melee Bite" and "Melee Claw" listed as separate actions. I am pretty sure there was a cut and paste error into the Ilvoresh statblock. Even taking two attacks per action for most of the fight, I was only able to drop the Paladin frontliner to Dying 1 once.
