Uthane Silverfingers Dwarf Rogue. Parents were miners and and Father was good at making small intricate silver toys for his children and friends children. He also made traps for the miners to set in the deep mines. Uthane became vary familiar with the traps and good at doing small work with his fingers. When his Parents and virtually his whole family died in a cave-in he struck out on his own. His skill in making small toys and trinkets was not vary productive because the human villages had little time for joy on the hard wastes. He quickly had to turn his skills to petty theft and the selling of poisons such as the ones made from spittle of monsters and fungi. He even used his skills of stealth to infiltrate and kill many a small goblin tribe. He has now ventured to the next coastal village after his luck in the last town ran cold.

Ok so this might sound kinda ya know dumb but. I was wondering if i could do a half-illithid Body tamer tank. If you look it up a half-illithid does not need to be Evil, and you have significantly reduced psionic powers. That said i understand you don't want psionics in this campaign any way so why not. Next you get 4 grapple check one for each tentacle, next you get +2 Dex, +4 Wis, +4 Cha, still looking for Str mod. The neet thing abought a body tamer is that you forgo your psionics to work on improving you physical attributes so you get grapple and tentacle boness as well as some special attacks. If you really don't want it then just say no it doesn't madder but i still thought it was Prudy cool.
Also Half-illithid don't need to consume brains once weekly... or at all so that's a real plus to being a good guy.

Well we are seriously lacking a healer but i believe that Blackfireox could heal... and we kinda would have 3 tanks but that would be ok really... Ilix what if you go for like a monk??? and then build him to do spring attack so you arnt really a tank just a fighter type guy? also everyone needs at the vary least a basic back story... i mean ya know this is gonna be mostly centered around the talk and not so much just the role of the dice but i think you guys will get better as we go.
Ok so I'm gonna look for a good monk or healer over the week end. by the end of today I might have something to post. but any suggestions are welcome. A witch or some other arcane magic user could be good for the healer, part.
I was talking to Krush and he suggested a witch, I'm looking through the APG(and other DnD book ) right now for for the straight up healer prestige class. Apparently at higher levels you get a unicorn mount.
Ok so ultimate prestige classes under the power of faith go to healing hand and tell me what you think. Admittedly i would have to have a divine based character but I could fairly quickly move into a full blown totally not evil in any way not brain eating panzy. what do you think.
P.S. I was thinking cleric.
I know but did you see the ridiculous passive sanctuary you get not to mention I think there a bonus to diplomacy checks. However converting a 3.5 prestige would be tricky and i would be unable to attack. At lower levels thought it would be kinda useless, big surprise there.

well yah but if you really want we could get a permanant sanctuary spell at higher levels of a santurary ring... or even potions of so that would not be that big a deal... i mean by all means u can if you want im just saying you can do some pretty cool stuff as just a claric... in fact if one of ur domains is protection you can get sanctuary as a bonus 1st lvl spell... so you could do protection and healing for your domains and own the heals...
I agree i was just pointing out that there is a totally healer class and if you look at there feats and spells some of then are like wait...WHAT? but over all I agree. a standard pathfinder cleric at higher levels would be pretty awesome. The sanctuary is special thought you would need to get past a (D10 roll +healing hands level +charisma mod) and if you fail you can not attack for the encounter.
Also an update to my Half-illithid body tamer idea, although you loos you bight you gain two tentacle attacks. and as a body tamer there is a strength bonus. Furthermore (this is where you get totally OP) You can get grater tentacle dexterity, and use them to wield weapons so ya know 6 blades. I would not do that though because it negates you instant kill whirling spinning flailing tentacle attack. The biggest thing though is that if you grapple someone for a full round you do extract(also an instant kill cuz ya know...Brain slurp.)
Ok just to be clear The Body tamer is just something i find cool not that I truly want to play one, I mean i defiantly would but, for this game we need a healer so that's how I'm leaning.
back to reality you think a monk of the haling hand Ok but is this the same healing hand cuz if it is then I still run into the same thing I literately can not figth or even unintentionally cause harm.
this is just a test to see something abought posting from a mac sorry. abought this taking up space.

ok so your monk of the healing hand is not the same as ur healing hand prestige class... monks of the healing hand are monks who are are trying to obtain enlightenment through healing others and sacrificeing yourself so at 20th lvl you could sacrifice yourself like cant be healed sacrifice, to bring back all the dead members of our party... crazy stuff like that but you would still be able to do all the cool monk stuff like flurry of blows slowfall extra speed... that stuff. And that would make sense for the story of an Ilithid body tamer because they are basically saying they dont want psyonics right? also ur plus to str or dex and wis are amazing though we would have to make a minus to something somewhere... so what im saying is you can play that if you want just say yes if you do. or you could be a body tamer cleric cuz you know same thing you are trying to find something to satisfy yourself besides psyonics... ie a diety... so yeah im totally cool if you play a body tamer and you can do either a monk or clric whatever you want. just say "im this" and ill be like cool.

ok so i dont think that your half ilithid is too op.. i think that you may have one bonus of plus 4 to either your cha your wis or your int NOT all 3 and then you would still get the bonus of your base race as well since you have to have a base race to inject the larva into... and this is up for debat so i would appriciate input from all the pc's (krush) but i kinda think that the suck out your brain thing is just evil... i mean i kinda could see how its like just a different custom but idk... tell me what you thin... cuz everything elsewould be fine. no psyonics except ur mindblast cuz thats almost like a breath weapon of a half dragon. overall i think it will be a great pc!
