Her "When you defeat a monster on your turn, you may recharge a card" ability... Recharge it from where? Hand? Discard pile?
The default for actions is from your hand. For the action to come from anywhere else, the text must specify where.
If you are instructed to play, reveal, display, discard, recharge, bury, banish, or otherwise manipulate a card, that card must come from your hand unless otherwise specified.
