Netflix's Castlevania for Pathfinder?

Homebrew and House Rules

So, has anyone thought to do a PDF of stat blocks of Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades, Alucard, and Vlad Dracula von Tepes from Netflix's Castlevania the Animated Series?

In terms of stats I'd think Trevor would be a Fighter with the Tactician archetype, Sypha would be a Kineticist who could use fire and cold (and later on electricity), and Alucard would be a Moroi-Born Dhampir (Svetocher) Magus?

Dracula might qualify as a Conjurer or Necromancer. He's power to conjure demons, undead, and unleash blasts of hellfire and negative energy make him interesting to stat.

Dark Archive

Personally if I were to play a Simon Belmont type character I'd make either a warpriest or brawler (with a modified whip to be in the close weapon group)

1 person marked this as a favorite.

What Class Levels would the bar-drunk have who kicks Simon Belmont in the jewels in episode one? He's funny.

"TREVOR" Belmont.

Sorry.
Just me showing my ignorance.

I played Super Castlevania IV back in the early 90s; I remember Simon. Never played anything else (not just in the Castlevania line, I mean, I've never played any other video games -- or computer games.)

(Obviously I'm not as big a fan as ye all -- though I'm anxiously waiting for season two.)

I think Dracula would be a Wizard, like you suggest; however,....

In the Netflix show (I don't know about the continuity with the game line.), Dracula's castle is a spaceship of some kind -- he tells the girl (his later wife) the whole place is "a flying machine."

So, could you argue that he's gestalt Wizard and some appropriate Class from Starfinder?

Dracula is probably an unique advanced Moroi vampire aristocrat / arcane spellcaster of some kind (I'd say either a conjurer or a necromancer) with several abilities unique only to him.

As for Castlevania, it's actually a "TRAVELING" machine dude (aka it can teleport). Dracula supposedly built it using science, magic, and occult lore that he learned and gathered over his centuries of life.

26 October.

That’s when the eight new episodes come out on Netflix.

I guess I have between now and then to learn this stuff, huh.

Traveling Machine....
Alucard....
Sypha. (She’s the girl that joins Trevor, I assume. Is she in the computer game; which Castlevania?)

Trevor Belmont: Descendant of Leon Belmont and member of the Belmont Clan (once renowned for hunting and slaying the monsters that plagued the European countryside but banished and branded heretics by the ungrateful, corrupt, and jealous Church).

Sypha Belnades: A descendant of the Belnades clan (famed for their bloodline producing potent magic users) and a member of the Speakers (an organization dedicated to giving aid and charity but only passing down their teachings and philosophy via oral tradition).

Grant DeNasty: A former pirate, swashbuckler, and bandit turned freedom fighter. Grant gave up his criminal ways and fought against Dracula's forces after Dracula's generals butchered his family and all his friends. He was captured by Dracula's forces and cursed to be a deformed hunchback guarding a clocktower of a ruined town. Trevor, Sypha, and Alucard fought and freed Grant and undid his curse and thus Grant pledged to join their cause to kill Dracula.

Alucard: Born Adrian Fahrenheit Ţepeş to Lisa Ţepeş and and Vlad Dracula Ţepeş the 3rd, Alucard is a dhampir who loved and cherished his mother and her teachings. He came into conflict with his father after attempting to stop Dracula from wiping out humanity. Dracula punished Alucard by putting him in a slumber in the catacombs beneath a human city and tasked a Cyclops to guard the entrance. Alucard was rescued by Trevor and Sypha and joined them in their quest to put an end to his father's madness.

So,... thanks to you Berselius, I took some time while Paizo was down and I couldn’t DM my Play-By-Post campaign to check out the YouTube thingy and watched some, er, ‘longplays’ of various Castlvania games, folks uploading their prowess. Obviously my fondly-remembered Super Castlevania IV was the one I watched the most, but I did watch a couple of the other Castlevania games on the YouTube thingy. It were neat fun.

THANKS!

Looking more forward to Season Two.

Okay Berselius, we're starting the countdown to Season Two.
