Adding More Roleplaying Information

Doomsday Dawn Game Master Feedback

Dark Archive

The beginning of Doomsday Dawn gives the GM some background information and two NPCs to dish out exposition, but the AP doesn't give any examples of what the characters should say or very much act like. Please continue the example set by PFS scenarios that has nice box text to read and some expected PC questions with appropriate answers to give out.

If anyone else is curious about some examples for the AP, consider checking out my current PbP game run by this profile.

I noticed that there was no boxed text for NPC dialogue the first scenario, but the rest of them did have it. I thought about writing down some RP prompts for running the NPCs, but they have such a minor part in the adventure that I just improvised.

I also improvised, but I much prefer having at least a couple prepared lines to give out as well and I was shocked to find absolutely no prepared lines written.

The adventure specifically states to start your PCs at the mouth of the dungeon, having given them a huge infodump at the start.

I personally dislike this plan, and will be doing some RP. Because, um, RPG.
