A question about play testing around obvious mistakes

General Discussion

When we spot something that seems like a clear oversight instead of an intentional choice on the part of the developers, should we try to play test to the authenticity of the book (Rules as Written)?

Will there be a FAQ of stuff that we should factor into our games?

I am sure the list is already growing, but it seems like play testing the game with every class being untrained in Unarmored defense is going to reveal a lot of false information about casters and armor and the value of sundering armor, for example.
