Actually, those two sheets mean you have a -1 character that you can build as you like, apply the Welcome to Pathfinder Boon, and then apply the chronicles to that character either at first level (giving you 0, 1 or 2 xp) or at the appropriate level for the chronicle (meaning the 7th level pregen would come online when you hit 7th level). Since that -1 hasn't been played at second level or above, you have complete freedom to design any legal character.

And like Brian mentioned you can apply the game using the 7th level pregen to your 1st level PC if you want.
I really should make a guide for what to do with your first chronicle sheet... but basically its like a checkbook tracking 4 different currencies: XP (3 xp and you level), Fame (how well known your character is), Prestige (how many favors you're still owed for all that fame after you called in your favors), and gold.

So for chronicle 1 your gold starts at 150, your fame starts at zero, your prestige starts at 0, and your XP starts at zero.

On you first chronicle you (probably) Earned 1 xp, 2 fame , 500ish gold which brings your total to 1 xp 2 fame and 500 ish gold (650 minus whatever starting gear you bought)

So on your second chronicle you start with the end values from your first chronicle and then apply what you got from the second chronicle
