Question regarding some of the wording for Aegis Customizations

So I'm a little confused on the wording for some Aegis customizations. Some say you can only get this customization when you reach x level but some say for every x amount of levels it increases like energy resistance. How does this work for the Student of the Astral Suit feat where you are considered up to your character level or 4 levels higher ( lower of the 2) for customizations and customization points and Metaforge Prestige class where you will be considered +1 of that level for customizations, customization points and DR? I'll take a crack at trying to unravel things for you. I'm ... 90% sure on the Metaforge example for Example C.

Example A:
6th level Aegis
Not a Student of the Astral Suit.
Not a Metaforge

Effectively L6. 10 points of Energy Resistance.

Example B:
6th level Aegis, 3rd level Soulknife
Student of the Astral Suit.
Not a Metaforge

Effectively L9. 10 points of Energy Resistance.

Example C:
6th level Aegis, 3rd level Soulknife, 3rd level Metaforge
Student of the Astral Suit.
Metaforge

Effectively L12 Aegis. 15 points of Energy Resistance.

Note: If I'm wrong, and Metaforge doesn't counts 1 for 1 for the EFFECTS of the Customization, then Example C would be effectively Aegis 10, and still have 15 points of Energy Resistance due to Student of the Astral Suit.
