So no idea if this fits here or not but it looked like the right place to put it. If I were to buy a hardcopy of a book here online and have it shipped to me would I also get a pdf for the book?

Nope, free pdfs are strictly for subscribing.

You can check to see if they have a humble bundle going, they usually attach pdfs to those like candy.

so book only or pdf at less than half the book price with no combo pack?

Yup, you can always subscribe to get the PDF.

Ill just stick to the cheaper route of getting the pdf and printing it off when I need it, most books aren't even in print anymore and those that are, are like 65$ in my currency and if they don't come with a pdf its much cheaper to just get the pdf for like 7-12$ and print it for 4$.
