Sadly the bar at the banquet had no Kahlua, so there were no White Russians to be had.
"You want a Caucasian? I can get you a Caucasian. Sheet, I can get you a Caucasian by three o'clock. There are ways, James, trust me you don't want to know."
I think a visit to Paizocon would be very similar to my last visit to the Netherlands, very little sleep but a good drink and pleasant company^^.
Yesssss.... Come to Seattle.... Don't listen to Tineke.
Better yet, come to Minneapolis! Tineke is coming, too! In February!

I can think of no better reason to reduce the amount of beer in my basement.

We will see how my financial situation will develop, but after meeting playing with Thunderlips in person, and meeting Jon ^^ I visiting your part of the US really is on my list ^^

Importing Tineke is something I can recommend, I do it once per year and thus far it has been a blast (though I need to prep more touristy stuff for this year).

I am not going to lie, I am feeling the temptation. ^^

"Come to Minnesota, we have White Russians" doesn't quite feel like the advertising we need...

But yes Sebastian, come!

So what I'm hearing is "Bring the bar some Kahlua next year?"

That, or bring all the beverages to Minnesota. We'll give them a good home.

Painlord tells me to blog, I blog. Apologies for the lateness.

I'm an HQ volunteer this year (mainly because I can't GM a table during the special, due to mainly being on the Card Guild side) and it's a much different perspective.

All the HQ volunteers were great and knew a great deal more than I did, which was useful. I found though that the orange shirt makes it a lot harder to hide :P

This year's PACG Open was interesting (Vampires!) and the Team with No Name won (Kiya, Kyle W from the Minnesota crew, Matsu Kurisu, and Adam). Buffy's Vampire Slayers got second place (Painlord, cartmanbeck, and Luke and Chuck). Fun stuff.

So with all the news about the Pathfinder Playtest, the card game also got a playtest! The playtest tables were full this year (one of the people I play ACG Guild with was attempting to get every single playtest boon he can get his hands on... even after I told him he could only apply one of them to a single character. Welp, he'll have rewards for days I guess.) It's all very interesting, but I don't want to say too much since I only sat in 1 table.

The new rewards (what PFSRPG calls boons) are really cool. Each one of them is associated with a faction and are thematically very appropriate. There were also two other boons, one is a foreign trader who works with Ultimate decks, and the other is a very specific boon that lets you play with the Magus Arcana with the Seltyiel from the S&S base set, who was created long before Magus Arcana was.

I don't remember anything from the banquet other than the Trained Octopus thing and I wasn't able to go to the ACG panel but that's alright.

Everything's packed away and ready to go to Origins and Gencon. Exciting!

Ooh, I would like to get a hold of that Seltyiel boon someday. I love my S&S magus. The idea of faction-themed rewards sounds cool too.
