For the love of Pharasma can we finally get a legs/pants item slot. Or will Pathfinder continue to be known as the Pantsless RPG?

I've never heard it referred to as the Pantless RPG but now that I have I demand there be no leg slots so that it may continue to be.

I don't believe there will be slots at all in PF2. Magic Item use will be restricted to Resonance now.

I think there will still be slots in that there will be restrictions based on anatomy. e.g. only one helmet because you only have one head, only one pair of gloves because you only have two hands, you can probably wear 10 rings now though if you have the resonance.

Also: No pants! Only shorts! They are so comfy and easy to wear!

No thanks, Paizo is mature (and smart) enough to know the kind of crude things that can go on with a Pants/Legs slot item to not walk into that obvious trap

Even so, that's baked into the Armor/Body slots in PF1, since having legless bodies and armor not protecting vital parts is silly design, making this claim pointless.

Except in PF1 we have a chest slot and an armor slot despite all standard armors covering the chest while some (Chain shirt/breastplate) don't necessarily cover the legs. So clearly armor and chest are separate, why not armor and legs?

It's effectively the Belt slot, as a belt is just a short skirt and a skirt fulfils the same function as trousers. So you can pretend your Monkey Belt or your Serpent Belt or your Belt of Thunderous Charging is actually pants, with the consequent ribaldry and japes.

See also Pants of Anaconda's Coils, Pants of the Snake King, etc. This is too easy.

There is a third party product that addresses magic pants.

And its sequel.

How about a special Zone of Truth spell that sets people's pants on fire when they lie?

I'm deeply offended by the inappropriate suggestion of magic pants. Magic trousers are the gentleman's choice!

Real men wear kilts.

The Liar's Pants in the first PDF that I linked to basically do exactly that.

Segue into the thread about changing the name of the system entirely.. Pantsfinder! You don't even have to change the initials!

No-pan RPG? Sounds a bit breezy.

Nary a mention of even a haberdashery in the crb would be a real crime.

Suspenders wrapped around the horse torso.

I was going to say good question, but it appears some folks have already pondered it...

Don't add a "u" to the title.

I think you're probably right, even though Resonance is a horrible idea.

Rather remove the "n't" from this post

Without pants there cannot be leg-ends.

Chest slots usually involve undershirts or tabards of some kind.

Heaven forbid we have a Pants slot instead include undies or speedos...which may or may not contain a Rod of Lordly MightSee what happens when you involve bathing suit regions in Pathfinder?

mithiril boxer briefs.

I'd wear mine over the top of my armour. Like a crotch tabard.

and the centaurs, you didnt read the one I quoted did you.

it said pants were against nagas and wemics...

probably prevents chaffing.

Pantsfinder confirmed.
