But then I live through 6-7 months of winter every year, so.
Indeed, 26 degrees is pretty warm for this time of year.
Unfortunately, no snow. :-(

I wear jeans almost constantly. I'm in IT, so I usually wear them to work, pretty much all year.
Right now, the weather here is just about normal for late December: 32°F and snowing (just a few flakes... no accumulation expected). Supposed to get down to 20°F overnight.
Tomorrow is supposed to get up to the mid-to-upper 30s, with snow expected. Monday is supposed to be a bit colder, with more snow. Looks like we're getting a white Christmas this year!

I want to lose some weight till the end of this year and this week I'm going to make my first cool sculpting ptocedure in MedSpa NYC clinic. This procedure helps to get rid of fat cells faster. Also I want to start running every morning. Want to lose at least 15 lbs in the next few months. It will be in my New Year's resolution!

DungeonmasterCal |

I had a heart attack this past January, so the anniversary of that is coming up soon. I lost 29 lbs afterward, but have gained it all back and then some. Not proud of that at all. I have to really work this coming year on me. I weigh so much now that walking or standing is sheer agony to my lower back.

Today: Work until mid-afternoon, leave a bit early to run an errand or two before going home for dinner. Come back to the office and work some more.
Tomorrow: Custom Hard-Mode Rise of the Runelords with Aiymi. She just cleared The Glassworks of goblins and Tsuto. Original version is Tsuto as a 2/2 rogue/monk and 8 goblins.
My version was 24 goblins, and Tsuto as a 1/1/3 wave mystery oracle/unchained monk/ninja who could see through mists and fogs. I justify the oracle level from the family backstory. He uses obscuring mist and will make his first attack by dumping two of his three ki points to throw 5 throwing stars through the mist into the person he deems most dangerous. 1d2+2d6+4 per star...unpleasant. Aiymi's paladin did not die, but also did not stay conscious through it.
Sunday: Work. Work. Work. Possibly 12-16 hours. Whatever it takes to finish this work project.

Saturday is the final session of Savage Tide for the year.
Should be getting to the gargoyles as they cross the cliffs, maybe just to Fogmire and the first creepy encounters with Olangru.
PS: autocorrect changes the demon's name to "I'm angry". LOL.
No or very little gaming planned for January due to overtime schedules all around, then back hopefully to normal come February.

Because my post didn't appear, I'm rewriting it. If I get a double post out of this because of some snafu, well, that's twice the goodness.
The holidays have thrown me off kilter. I just realized that today is Friday and I have a game tomorrow night. I have no idea what to run, though I have some sort of embryonic "Land of the Lost" notion rolling around in my head. I guess we'll just have to see what happens.

Savage Tide did not happen Saturday. One player we knew would be absent, one no-showed because of unexpected family arrival, and one was feeling ill and didn't want to get online, leaving me missing three of my five PCs.
We'll resume in February, hopefully.

I liked him in Megamind.
That's it. Everything else I can't stand.

Both of my games got canceled this past week because of people being out of town.
After a disastrous attempt as running Doomsday Dawn for the PF2e Playtest, my Pathfinder group has really soured on PFRPG. We quit the playtest halfway through Part 3, and are now playing Dragon Heist in D&D 5e. It's my second go-round with 5e, and the first that isn't a VTT game. I am really digging 5e!
My other group mostly plays rules-light games, like Fate, and the "Powered by the Apocalypse" games such as Dungeon World. We are going to put our current DW campaign on hold to play-test a beta release of a new swords-and-sorcery game from Perigrine Press based on the GUMSHOE investigation-focused system. I just started reading the rules, and they look solid!

Stranger than Fiction was good. I liked his Alex Trebek on SNL. But yeah, that and Megamind is really it.

I work as a medical lab technician! This means that I'm one of the people that runs the tests on blood, urine, stool, sputum, etc. that are collected from out-patients, in-patients, and ER patients. Since the hospital I work at is pretty small, I also do phlebotomy - blood drawing.
I hear lots of vampire jokes.
*edit* In spite of my previous post, I do enjoy my job for the most part. But 4 12 hour shifts in a row can be pretty tiring!

^This might sound really bizarre but I'd rather work with a stool specimen than a sputum specimen any day. There's just something about the look of a loogie that makes me a little queasy if I have to stare at it for too long. At least with stool we've got a fume hood to work in that vents away most of the smell!

I managed to make it through the afternoon and the weakness and dizziness abated, so the game went without a hitch. The only way I could have gone to the doctor would have been by calling an ambulance because no one was home to give me a ride and my vehicle died in April. I feel fine today, just speaking a bit gruffly because of all the talking and laughing I did during the game.

Glad you're feeling better, Cal!
My Wednesdy night D&D game got canceled again this week, but my Thursday night game is on.
We're play-testing a new game called Swords of the Serpentine, which is based on the GUMSHOE system.
Lookg forward to trying it out!
