Not to be confused with Androids, who are synthetic organisms with a soul. SROs are true A.I. so complex that a soul was able to overcome the lack of an organic (or organic-like) body.
Basically we can play R2-D2 and/or walk around saying, "Danger, Will Robinson!"

Read the whole sentence, though.
"In addition to being constructs and thus able to benefit from spells like make whole, SROs count as living creatures for the purposes of making healing effects that work on living creatures, though the number of Hit Points restored in such cases is halved."
(Bolding mine)
But as noted, it doesn't matter. While mystic cure specifies living targets, the Mystic's healing class features don't. So the SROs Healing Circuit racial feature is irrelevant--it works just fine on constructs and undead anyway.
That said, SROs are immune to more than I realized at first. There are a lot of spells that specify living targets, and Healing Circuit only has them count as living creatures for healing effects. Curiously, SROs are vulnerable to the X person spells but not the X monster spells, as the latter specify living creatures.
