Since 3.0, feats have been sorted alphabetically, dividing up different versions of a feat, such as improved or superior, into different parts of the list.

Also since 3.0, spells have been sorted with prefixes after the main name of the spell, grouping all versions of a spell together in the list.

For PF2, please sort feats the same way spells have been sorted.

Spell Focus. This feat focuses on a school, not a spell. Can this feat please be renamed School Focus?

Combat Reflexes contains the word reflexes. There is a saving throw mechanic called reflex, making this feat sound (to me) like it has something to do with reflex saving throws.

Can Combat Reflexes please be renamed Extra Opportunities so the feat name connects with the attacks of opportunity game mechanic?

Point one, yes, I really would rather see "Cleave, Great" than "Great Cleave" so the chains are right next to each other.

Point two, there probably won't even be a Spell Focus. It's just absorbed into the scaling proficiency modifier. If they do bring Spell Focus back, it might be something a little truer to its name - focusing on signature spells and making those specific spells better.

Point three, hm, this might just be a case of the name being too entrenched, much like the Longsword. But at the very least, "Combat Opportunist" or the like would be a workable name.

Wow, yeah, that would be a great change for Feat sorting. Part of what makes PF1 so opaque is how unclear feat chains are to a layman. We have been told feat taxes and prerequisites will be much less common this time around... But if we are gonna have them, let's group them together. Put Beast Totem's lesser and greater varieties next to each other so it is easy for a newbie to see the progression at work when they are deciding what to pick.

I imagine they will already have done this - Starfinder had their feat trees done in this manner with things like
Psychic Power;
Psychic Power, Minor;
Psychic Power, Greater.

For those, the logical order would be:

Psychic Power, Minor;
Psychic Power;
Psychic Power, Greater.

That is, put the feat in the order you have to take them. Those feats usually refer to the less powerful versions.

I agree, in a case like that they should be listed in play order, even if that isn't alphabetic order. You could do this by calling it Psychic Power I, Psychic Power II etc.

I would much prefer, though, if feat chains like this were eliminated. "This is the same feat you took four levels ago, but you need to take it again to stay effective" is a boring way to level up.
