I'm so confused

Advice

I am looking for advice on how to make a character concept work. Basically the character is so diverse that they do not know which group to claim.

Half-Elf
Crossblooded sorcerer (Orc/?)
Feat: Racial Heritage (?)
Trait: Adopted (?)/?

Any thoughts on how to expand on this concept, mechanical and role-play, are appreciated. I am willing to consider multiclassing, but not just for the sake of multiclassing.

Thanks.

Black Blood Heritage would give everyone a pause.

I recently played around on Hero Lab with a character who took almost every available feat that mimics an ability of another class - Believer’s Boon, Eldritch Heritage, Amateur Investigator/Swashbuckler/Gunslinger, Barroom Brawler, etc., with the idea being that he couldn’t make up his mind. For his actual class, I made him a fighter (lore warden), because he needed the extra combat feats for the concept to work and still be a useful member of an adventuring party. You might consider a fighter - with or without archetype - for the same reason.

Role play wise, to help show how they could be so racially diverse, they could be the bastard child of a forth or fifth generation prostitute.

I'm tinkering with what is mechanically a half-elf brawler. However, he's not as handsome as typical half-elves. And, while he doesn't have tusks like a half-orc, they are definitely longer and thicker than most. And, he has a more muscular build than any half-elf. However, his ears could be nothing but elven heritage.

Sovereign Court

Sounds like my half-elf half-ork sorcerer/arcanist (ork bloodline for the sorcerer)

The best way to do that is to multiclass into Oracle and take the Deep One curse. Never have I had so many people ask me what book that comes from and if that curse changes your race.

Where DOES that one come from?

I don't remember hearing of it before for PFS?

It's from Inner Sea Magic

Unless you meant the Deep One curse, which is from Horror Realms.

archivesofnethys is a great resource for finding source material.

Back when tieflings were on the always available race list, I had a crossblooded tiefling sorceror celestial/infernal. He had some issues.

Silver Crusade

You could also go with the http://www.archivesofnethys.com/ArchetypeDisplay.aspx?FixedName=Sorcerer%20 Mongrel%20Mage Mongrel Mage Sorcerere archetype instead of Crossblooded, to really drive in the "totally mixed heritage" message.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am definitely going to add some oracle with the deep ones curse to the mix.

Keep 'em coming.
