I admire the boldness of the OP. Yeah, I'd be glad for Paizo to release a Universal Pathfinder supplement and SRD (or series of supplements) which reskinned the game for all the various RPG genres: Modern, Sci-Fi, (Non-Magical) Earth History Settings, etc.

But they're so successful with their existing publishing model, it seems unlikely they'd branch out. PF1 (and StarFinder) explore other genres solely via Golarion.

However, over on the Cubicle 7 forums (tho' recently defunct), I posted a thread where I called upon C7 to make a PF2 version of The One Ring/Adventures in Middle-earth.

From what I've seen of PF2, I like the 3-action economy, and most everything else. It looks like a fun and clear basis for any "d20-style" adapation of any RPG genre.

I wonder how PF2 would be adapted for a non-magical setting? Besides excising all magic, also cap advancement to Master proficiency level (no Legendary).

Did any PF1 book (by Paizo or a Third Party) cover non-magical settings?

...Now if only WotC would switch to PF2 for D&D 6th Edition...haha
