How do I get involved with pathfinder via internet based roll playing?

Hi guys

I'm sorry if I sound stupid. I have been playing DND since 2nd ed and have been with different groups where we would play typical monday nights at someones house or appt.

I have had to move away and would like to play again. I have seen people play via web cam based or some program along those lines. Yet I do not know how to get involved with these groups or programs that they use ect...

Where do I go, who do I talk too, what do they need ect...

Much help would be appreciated.

Was in a similar situation not too long ago. We settled on Fantasy Grounds as our VTT and it works pretty good. It does cost money, either a one time fee or monthly. If someone has the Ultimate version everyone else can use the free version, otherwise everyone needs regular. As posted above a few forums dedicated to finding groups

And I use Roll20 for free for everyone. The tools available for GMs, even in the free version, are pretty amazing.

So if you'd like to keep your old group together via the internet, that's a possibility as well.
