Paks-World pantheon.

If you've read the Paksenarrion books, this one is for you. Continuation of an existing FB thread.

I'm going to try my hand at importing Elizabeth Moon's Paks-world pantheon. Submit all the gods you can remember and I'll update the master list here as we go. Suggestions for domains, alignments and favored weapons happily accepted. I also want to fill in what would be missing (e.g. "omg, nobody has that domain I really want!"). Apologies, my brain is blanking on some of the names just now, so help there would be great too. Gird listed to start you off (and I listed some that I could remember).

Hauk should probably be a club instead of mace, as that's the way I recall it be described in the second book of the Deed of Paksenarrion. Tir is the sword master and focused on war, so for domains maybe Artifice, Strength, and War? Favored weapon could be the Bastard Sword.
Spiked Chain might work for Liart, but so too would the whip and/or scorpion whip.

Dot.

I like pretty much all of what you've done so far, and Quintin has a good point. I loved the original trilogy and the two prequels. There are some new novels out now that are set some years in the future and Paks doesn't really figure into them at all, I think. I tried to read the first one and it was just boring. All they did was talk about how many supplies the army needed to get through the winter. It was like reading a ship's manifest over and over.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

The Lady of Peace should be NG (the purest good).
