Drawback system to represent birth defects?

Rules Questions

Is there a drawback rules system to represent birth defects for characters? Say a PC that was born mute, deaf, etc etc? Or is the Oracle class the only one with that type of drawback?

Oracle curses are the most blatant form. There are a few drawbacks that could do the job (such as Misbegotten or the Arcane Malignancies from Blood of the Coven). And the Blind Zeal trait is worth a look as well. ^_^

Yeh, it is called "min-maxing" and people have been using it to simulate birth defects forever.

But seriously, you can also look in the Skull and Shackles for their disabilities list (eye, leg, hand) for critical injuries for examples.

Cool, thanks.
