Gifts (Book 2 spoilers)

Did anyone give out different gifts to what is recommended in the Award Ceremony?

I am looking at using Automatic Bonus Progression which removes the need for the belts/headbands and indeed all "no brainer" items

I was struggling to see items of similar value (and of constant use) that would be as useful when searching d20pfsrd for the magic item list

The closest I got was mithral armour for some of the characters...

Obviously the idea is that they need to be something that the players cannot resist not wearing regularly

The name of the game is tailoring to the PCs. Anything they've been eyeing but martial law has kept from them, or something good for their build that they never knew they wanted until just this moment.

That or toss the scene by the wayside, either one really.

Of course I forgot that martial law might be quite restrictive by this stage.

Rod of Piercing or Normal Rod of Mercy (the convert spell damage to nonlethal)
Ring of Spell Knowledge II
Lesser Bracers of Archery
gauntlets of the skilled maneuver
ring of maniacal devices
