Thought I would get this thread up and running. Who's arriving early, and wants to get in some extra gaming? Here's the Warhorn. I'm arriving Thursday around noon.

Scarab Sages

I arrive Wednesday night. I definitely would be interested in getting in a few games

I get in early Thursday morning. Definitely looking for something to pass the time until I can check into my room. Possibly looking for something later in the day, too.

I will be in Wednesday.

Not sure what sort of mental space I'll be in yet.

Two arriving Monday. One willing to gm unleashing the untouchable.

That would be fun.

That would be fun.

That would be fun to play as Shackles with your bloat mage. Last year’s tables of All for Immortality were some of the con’s highlight’s for me. However, I wouldn’t be arriving until Thursday morning.

ummm... I don't see anything on the schedule. Could you put some slots with place holders out there?
I've been assigned as a backup GM for the afternoon games but I will be there early and late so free before and after the convention.

I'd like to mention that there are a few small tables right outside the restaurant where people hang out and drink coffee from the coffee/food vendor there. There's a coffee table on the walkway side of the restaurant wall.
I'd suggest printing a little sign with the scenario name (or the cover page for the scenario) and mustering there, otherwise you're just more people standing around.

So I've got 3 old {challenging} scenarios that I thought some of the newbies might like to try their hand at; 0-27 Our Lady of Silver, 1-32 Drow of the Darklands Pyramid, 1-34 Encounter At The Drowning Stones.

I'd be interested in playing this.

Two of us getting in Wednesday morning, probably be interested in some games on Thursday

Placeholders added.

TOZ is possibly looking for a table of Unleashing the Untouchable on Monday evening if anyone else is interested

Shadow Lodge

Sadly, most of my home crew that will be around will not be in tier for it, so we'll likely be looking for something else.

Dataphiles

@GM Eazy-Earl and Majuba
We started signing up for Unleashing the Untouchable in one of the LFG placeholders on the Warhorn.

Got it.

Barring the air travel fiasco that prevented me from attending last year, I'm expecting to arrive on Wednesday afternoon. I'm going to do a little sightseeing on Thursday, but should be around for the night.

One thing I was hoping to gather people for would be an old-school scifi/RPG convention activity: A competetive reading of The Eye of Argon.

I'm also thinking of running a session of the RPG Sprit of '77, if anyone is interested. Not yet sure of timing, though.

Moved all of that to the session of Untouchable. Looks like a great group! One spot left! LINK

Azothath/Haladir - if you want any games scheduled, let me know (email in profile is better, but I'll get a PM soon enough as well).

It could be better, I have a GM blob in tier if we want to discuss.

powell01 wrote:

A 12-15 GM Blob? That would be weird, I'd much rather play with an established character.

It always takes me a few sessions to get the feel for a character, whether it’s brand new or a GM blob birthed at a higher level. Having this be a character’s first session? I don’t know. While I’m certainly not questioning the player’s ability to do so, I’d have the same reservations as Majuba.

True, but I have thirteenth level unchained rogue I could bring as well.

Kate Baker running her SFS scenario on Thursday afternoon.

Yes, come play with me!

Well, as as long as my flight doesn't get canceled for a second year in a row, I should be there Thursday afternoon. I'll play, Kate!

Aaah, yay! I'd love to run for you, Jacob! (Make sure to sign up on the Warhorn!)

The redoubtable Kevin Willis will be running Ruins of Harskkeep on Thursday - Bonekeep one with all Harsks! (Can be Core if desired by the group).

HARSK MODE!

So, hypothetically speaking, if one survived HarskKeep, could one apply that to a L1 character as Harsk is a pregen?

Yes, one could!

The primary objective of the game is to enjoy the glory that is Harsk, but I will pass out chronicles for Core PFS characters, either to hold for characters that are not yet level 7 or as level 1 (500 gp) chronicles.

Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

May I please use that as a backup option of the table Kate is running gets too full?

Almost signed up for Harskkeep... sad, 12-5PM... I can't skip TWO days of work... :( Won't even be in until around 5...

Scarab Sages

Dont suppose anyone would like to run 9-05 Call of the Copper Gate, Thursday evening? pretty please with sugar on top :)

Ok. We have 14 players and no GMs Thursday night. I didn't want to GM because I really didn't want to do any more prep, but I have already run Call of the Copper Gate twice and foolishly haven't even erased the custom maps yet so the preps no big deal. So if there are a few more who want to play 9-05 I'll run it Thursday night.

Scarab Sages

Thats awfully kind of you Zach, thank you. I owe you a few beers :-)

Since I'm the 'Other player' that Nizari mentioned, I'm adding my thanks, Zach.

If there is any UK based product that I can bring as a thank you (and I can fit in my case, let me know.

I'm getting in on Wednesday night at 7pm local time, would anyone be interested in running a game either that night (like 8pm to midnight) or the next morning finishing before 1PM? I don't have time for much PFS during the con with all my PACG stuff happening. :)

Dataphiles

Not a problem guys. I was sad we had so many players, and no GM volunteers so I was very glad that you requested a scenario A) that I enjoy and B) that I could easily prep.

Majuba can we get a table of Call of the Copper Gate added to the Warhorn Thursday night?

Scarab Sages

:-)

Majuba said it should be added by Noon today when I asked. Lets hope we can get some more players

I'll be getting in early on Thursday, would love to find a game. First time at PaizoCon and feeling a little overwhelmed in general, and let down by lottery results/too slow on non-lottery stuff, so would love to meet some awesome people to get things off on the right foot.

Be great to meet you NielsenE - it's always a little overwhelming the first time - don't worry - the real secret is that the Con is better just hanging around than going to (most) games - though those are usually awesome as well :)

Be sure to register for a Goblin Brain and find me on Thursday - no better start than that!

Added 9-05 by the way.

Also By the way - one must be set a a GM in order to volunteer for GM'ing - so some of those "Looking for Group" players may be GM volunteers as well. Quirk of the site.

Scarab Sages

Thanks for posting 9-05 Majuba,

Highly recommend Goblin Brains and you'd be more than welcome to join us on the 9-05 game Thursday evening, NielsenE

"Ask and ye shall receive!"

I'm going to run #8-19 Treacherous Waves (Tier 3-7) for Tyler/cartmanbeck's Level 4 Bard on Thursday morning. I'll plan to start at 0800, and finish no later than 1200 so he can get to his afternoon event.

Majuba, could you please add that to the Warhorn, with a reserved seat for Tyler?

Lastly, where do folks muster for and play these pre-Con games? Are the Cascade rooms upstairs available? Do we have to use someone's hotel room? Do we go to Denny's across the street with breakfast sausages standing is as minis?

Is there any interest in a 10-2 or 6-10 game of SFS 1-12 on Thursday. Or even something on Wednesday.

You rock! I'm up for wherever. Last year we played a game in a coffee table-type area upstairs from the Cascade rooms when we didn't have another spot. We'll find a spot. I'm going to PM you my cell number in case we need to coordinate on the fly.

I'm interested in 6-10pm after Kate's #1-08.

Eric and I are headed up from Portland Thursday morning, about a 3.5 hour trip, so we're unlikely to make it there before Noon.

Default muster location is outside the restaurant. Typically the best place to play is the Evergreen rooms (roughly right above the restaurant) - that may not work as well for the post-con games, as there will be events in there for a while.

Scenario added, and I may join you. Couldn't find you among the registrations to add you as GM.

Thanks for adding it. I signed up as the GM. I'm in Warhorn under my email address & real name, but I was/am registered. No worries, it's sorted. Thanks! Looking forward to meeting you!

Outside the restaurant/bar area is a good muster point, just past the coffee stand. Evergreen/Cascade rooms are the best places to play we even managed to get food delivered to them last year :-)

Thank you to everyone that will be running games at PaizoCon; during the scheduled events, the 10,000 Lakes Gaming games, and the pre/post games.

PaizoCon is my once a year chance to take off the GM/VA hat and get a pile of games in as a player. Every game you run I'll be taking back to my lodge to run, inspired by you. If it wasn't for everyone running games at PaizoCon my high level characters would be shelved for years, now they get a chance to stretch their legs and roll their dice. And thanks to everyone running games and letting me come as only a player, that means I can leave the GM bag at home and only fly with carry-on.

Now with that said, I've played both games quede up for Monday afternoon/evening. If anyone is considering running a monday game (evening ideally), please consider the list of scenarios available to 156828 on PFStracker.

I’ll keep ya in mind.

Edit: Blakros Connection or What Sleeps In Stone are possible.
