Compendium Phase?

Product Discussion

Given recent news for the company, is Paizo considering doing a final cleanup release for errata/FAQ/Rules? Easily there could be enough content to release hardcovers of sheer compilations of things to have in one place such as feats, spells, and rules.

Planar Adventures was confirmed to be the last PF 1.0 hardcover, so I doubt it.

These days, websites such as Archives of Nethys and d20pfsrd have pretty much taken over the "compendium" role.

Why waste effort on fixing their stuff when they're just going to throw it out and pretend it never happened?

I would like there to be one. (Granted, I figured there was going to be a line of Unchained books that would close out the edition that would include stuff like this)

But yeah, a Big Book Of FAQs/Rules, and then a book of spells and feats, even if it was basically just a Big Index that referenced the original source, well, better to have the most recent source, I suppose.

But yes, now-a-days, we have The Internets, so I doubt we'll get something like that. Maybe Pazio or a third party can compile the FAQs into one big PDF, that would be nice at least.

Rules compendium (kinda revised CRB) is what I would mostly want. Various SRD sites make spell/feat/class compendiums unnecessary.

What's the likelihood that these sites will keep their "compendiums" going after Paizo abandons PF1 and moves on to PF2?

I mean, the SRD for D&D 3.5 still exists.

d20pfsrd has already declared their intention to keep the Pathfinder portion of their rules site active. I'd be surprised if Nethys took theirs down.

Blake even has a Patreon if you want to chip in a little to show your appreciation for AoN and help keep the site aloft ^w^
