My posts occassionally show as 'new'

Website Feedback

This has been an on-going issue for awhile now, where sometimes(seemingly at random) my post will show up as a new post in a thread. Ie, '1 new post'.

It's very annoying, and frustrating, as there doesn't seem to be a reliable way to fix it.

Sometimes if I click on the 'new' post, it will go away but there's been a bunch of times where this hasn't worked. Refreshing doesn't seem to work either.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. The bug has now been documented and we will investigate to diagnose and fix it.

This is still happening, though much less often now.

It happens to mine too.

I see the same thing. It has been happening since a few months ago when the web site had a spate of bugs that made posting difficult to do at all, logged people out quickly, etc.. This was noted then, but the priority was to fix things to restore the web site to usability.

This is happening to me a lot lately. I remember it happening a few months ago, then it stopped, now it's happening again as of the past week or so (and just happened like 4 minutes ago). Happens whether on a Windows PC with Firefox or my Android phone using Chrome. Persists (e.g. a post I made this morning on one device showed up just now as "new" on the device iam using now). Happens whether I use default avatar or alias (it seemed like last time it was tied to alias, but that might have been coincidence).

Me too.
Honestly, I LOVE Paizo, but things on the web site have been getting wonkier and wonkier over the past few months.

This is happening again. Before the update today, it was pretty much every new post I made. After the update, it *seemed* fine, but it just happened to me again.
